Summary: B Walk - Memorial Day - Walk, Ceremony, Dinner and Bus

 This is a special - Memorial Day Walk. Following the walk there will be a Ceremony at approximately 16.30 followed by a 3 course meal in The Glenmalure Lodge at 17.00. The bus will return to Dublin at 19:00. By joining this walk you are also agreeing to participate in the Ceremony and Dinner. The cost for this Walk and Dinner is €57.00 (€18.50 for the bus and €38.50 for the 3 course dinner).

Bookings will open earlier than usual at 19:00 on 18th April 2026 and will CLOSE on 3rd May 2026.

Loop walk from Glenmalure Lodge, heading SW along the Wicklow Way through military wood via Dromgoff hill then ascending to Mullach summit before traversing Fannaneerin Ridge then descending to pick up the Wicklow Way back to Glenmalure.

Terrain & River Crossings

Short distance on road. Good mountain tracks although mucky in places.

Gear Recommendations

Conditions on the recce were quite wet and slippery on the ridge so poles and gaiters recommended
Other Information
Bring a change of clothes in a separate bag for dinner. We will drop them off at the Glenmalure Lodge before commencing the walk.
