Length km: 20.2  Climb m:  1038m   Duration hrs: 8 hours

Description

Starting at Laragh we climb through the forest to approach Derrybawn via Remembrance wood. Then following Derrybawn ridge we climb Mullacor and descend to Lugduff gap. From here we continue on to Lugduff before descending steeply to the bridge for lunch. From here we have a steep climb to Camaderry East top and from there it's a downhill stroll all the way back to St Kevins way and on to Glendalough for some well earned refreshments.
Terrain & River Crossings

Two small streams easily crossed.Mostly open mountain and mountain tracks and a short time on forest track. A few boggy areas.

Gear Recommendations

Usual gear. We may take a 3rd short break so pack some extra snacks!

Other Information

The climbs are well spaced out with plenty of time in between to enjoy the stunning 360 degree panoramas as we walk along the Derrybawn, Lugduff and Camaderry ridges. We will take it at a 'nice' A pace!
