Summary Glendalough upper lake carpark, Slayfonn, Braigue and Cullentragh peaks, Glenmalure Lodge

Length km: 13.7  Climb m:  500   Duration hrs: 4 hrs 45 mins
Description The walk from Glendalough to Glenmalure includes a mixture of forest and open hillside, from nature awakening to great views, with a sense of historic importance.   From the upper lake carpark, head up to join the Wicklow Way towards Lugduff, branching off towards Slayfonn and onto Braigue and Cullentragh mountains. From there is a gradual descent to Glenmalure lodge with a few twists. 

Terrain & River Crossings

Mixture of tracks with patches of wet ground which are easily negotiated
