Summary

WALK IS CANCELLED DUE TO INSUFFICIENT NUMBERS

Summit Trooperstown Hill, Ballard Lane, Woolen Mills Laragh, Derrybawn Ridge, on to Cullentragh down to Glenmalure.

Length 19.4km:   Climb 756m:     Duration 7hrs: 

The walk starts in Trooperstown carpark.  We go up through the forest to the mast and ascend to Trooperstown summit.  We descend from the summit to Ballard Lane and continue to Laragh.  At the woollen mills we take forest paths through the Remembrance Wood to the summit of Derrybawn. Walking along the ridge, with beautiful views on a clear day. Continue to Braigue mountain and on to the summit of Cullentragh. Descend to Shay Elliot, Ballyboy bridge and on to Glenmalure.
