 This is a B+ walk. We ascend from the Upper Car Park to Camaderry East, Camaderry, Turlough Hill, and descend to Van Diemens Mines and back to the Upper car park on the Spinc. There is a steep ascent for the first two hours some of which is on boggy ground especially from Camaderry to Turlough Hill. There is a steep cross country descent , no track, from Turlough Hill to Van Diemens Mine, about three kms of challenging terrain which includes crossing some small streams. We return to the Upper carpark along the re opened Spinc. 

Boggy in places and 3 km of challenging  cross country descent.3 small stream crossings. Forest path to finish.
