Loop walk from Lacken car-park up Sorrel Hill with a mix of forest and mountain tracks and great views. 

Description 

This is a lovely scenic looped walk - perfect for a summer’s day. We walk the Mass Path up through a forest, walking through fields and on tracks until we come out into the open with Sorrel Hill beckoning in the distance to our right. After a gradual early ascent, and a final steep ascent,  to the summit we hopefully will have wonderful panoramic views of Dublin, Blessington lakes and the Sea in the distance.  We then descend by a different route to Gap Road and after a stretch of road, walk back to the forest and return to the car-park.
