Summary
Starting at Shay Elliot we will head via Braigue mountain to Mullacor, after lunch at the base we continue via the Lugduff gap to connect with the Miners Way onto the Spinc and descend to Glendalough

Description
Approaching Mullacore in this direction we minimise the climb, so it is a great way to experience the most glorious 3600 views along the way.
Terrain & River Crossings

Great variety of terrain, lovely soft trails, sections of boardwalk, stone steps, steep in places on the repaired Miners Way, and forest tracks. 

Gear Recommendations

Usual summer gear, don't take out the leggings !  Poles a must
Other Information
Most of the climb will be over by lunch. We will take our time and enjoy the ride, I have allowed extra time as some of the descent over mixed terrain will be slow.
