Milatary Road - Up to Fananeirin Ridge - Croghanmoire North Top - Croghanmoire - Ballinagapogue Bridge - Wicklow Way - Glenmalure Inn

Description
We will begin at a section on Military Road and take the path up through the saddle of Fananeirin Ridge.  We will then take a right at the top and proceed until we Croghanmoire North Top as well as well as Croghanmoira. We will then take the Southern descent and take a right towards Ballinagapogue Bridge.  We will then take the first right ascent through the woods until we join the Wicklow Way.  We will then follow the Wicklow Way all the way back to Glenmalure Inn for some refreshments.
Terrain & River Crossings

Some potentially mucky boggy crossing across Fananeirin Ridge.  It was exceptionally dry on the recce, but this might change and can be boggy if it has rained recently.  One gate climb-over is at the start, and there is 1 x road crossing, and a little walk along the road at the very end.  The majority of the hike is forest tracks and Wicklow Way trails.

Gear Recommendations

Gaiters and poles.  It was very dry on the recce but please be prepared for rain and ensure to bring sufficient wet gear.
