Description

This is a beautiful and scenic loop walk starting and finishing at Laragh Car Park. From the car park, we make our way past the Old Woollen Mills before taking forest paths through the Remembrance Woods, followed by a steady climb  to the summit of Derrybawn.   From here, we follow the Derrybawn Ridge, enjoying the surrounding scenic views, and then continue on to Mullacor. After descending  Mullacor, we join the Wicklow Way, passing De Gaulle’s Seat and follow the forest track back towards Laragh Car Park.

Terrain & River Crossings 

A mix of forest tracks, trails through ferns,  open mountain side, and some boggy areas on Derrybawn and Mullacor.  No river crossings

Usual Hiking gear, gaiters and poles recommended
