Description
Scenic winter walk from Bookey Bridge through Ballard Woods to summit of Trooperstown Hill. Continuing onto Avonmore Way for Paddock HIll, we then make our way to Glendalough and return to Laragh along the Green Road.

Mixed including mountain track with loose stones descending Trooperstown HIll


Gear Recommendations

Dress for winter weather and damp underfoot - sticks recommended. Pack an extra layer of clothing. High viz for short portion of walk. Head torch given short days.
