Summary

Linear Walk Ballynultagh Gap to Ballyknockan Village

The bus will leave Glenageary Dart station at 09.30 instead of the normal 09.00

The bus will go via the M50, no pickup in Kilmacanogue but Cherrywood pickup is an option

Description
Starting at the Ballynultagh Gap we ascend to Black Hill and onwards to Mullaghcleevaun summit. Reversing back down from the summit we continue through to Billy Byrne’s Gap and on to Moanbane and Silsean and finally to Ballyknockan Village.
Terrain & River Crossings

No river crossings. Mixture of tracks and open ground. There is 1.5km of rough ground from the Mire of Cleevaun to the start of the ascent to Moanbane.

Gear Recommendations

Wet gear essential, gaiters and poles strongly recommended
