Description 

Turn right from Dun Laoghaire train station along Crofton Rd, turn left up York Rd, slight hill which we will stroll up & stop half way up at Birds Nest Building, which was a Childrens Home founded in 1859 in memory of Mrs Whately & Mr Whale & is now in Apartments,  continue to Mountown & visit Church of Society of St Pius, continue down road to look at Monkstown Castle, we will then visit the Schoolhouse in Monkstown which was built in 1791 but lay emply since the 1980s but has recently been restored, continue on to Monkstown village Dart Station & cross over bridge & down steps to walk back to Dun Laoghaire along the metals for refreshments in Gourmet Parlour
