Starting at Laragh free carpark we ascend Trooperstown hill via Ballard Lane.  The ascent will be slow and we will not go to the summit.  Instead when we join the main Trooperstown we will descend to continue across to Bread and Butter Stone.  From here there is a gentle ascent to Boot Hill before continuing descent to Trooperstown mast and a short road walk to Ballard Lane and on to Laragh

All the trail is track and some short road.  No river crossings.
