Summary A circuit of Lough Ouler and ascent of Scarr

Note 08:30 bus PLUS bring working Head Torch (clock has changed!)

Description From the Wicklow Gap we climb to Tonelagee. We descend on the North side of Lough Ouler before climbing up on the other side of the Lough to the Col under Tonelagee (probably new track for most). We then descend to Glenmacnass, cross the river, climb to Scarr and walk to Laragh

Terrain & River Crossings Decent mountain tracks for most of this walk. Some rough ground. We need to cross the Glenmacnass River hopping across some stones.

Gear Recommendations

Be prepared for all weather. Poles, if you use them, and gaiters recommended.
