Lemass memorial  to Merry Ploughboy
Length km: 11  Climb m: 170    Duration hrs: 4 hrs
Description
Starting at the Lemass Memorial we pop over Killakee and onto Cruagh Mt, dropping down along the river trial to avoid the forest paths to emerge onto the road and cross  into lovely Massey Woods finishing at the Merry Ploughboy for refreshments.


Terrain & River Crossings

Open countryside, tracks, trails and forest paths. Some erosion in parts

Usual winter gear, poles advised. 
Other Information
A great walk with a mix of mountain and city views and hopefully beautiful autumnal colours.
