Starting in Laragh, we walk in a Northwesterly direction out through the forest as far as Mall Brook about 5k. Then we leave the track and head first to Mall Hill and then out over open ground for about 2 km to reach the ridge overlooking Lough Ouler and to ascend Tonelagee. We descent to the Tonelagee car park and head towards Camaderry via St. Kevin's way. After that it's all downhill to Glendalough hotel

Forest track, rocky ground, wet grassy terrain, soft wet peaty paths and peat hags. Some stretches of open ground through heather.
