Loop Walk around Kelly’s Mountain and Kelly’s Lough
Length km:  16.4 Climb m:  500   Duration hrs: 5hrs 40 mins
Description
Leave the Drumgoff Recreation area, join WW for 500m and continue on boardwalk over Parish Turf Bog. Continue to end of boardwalk and to open ground at the forest edge. Continue to Carraystick Mountain and on to the air crash site. Proceed across the ridge and Lough Mountain to Lough Gap. Drop down into the valley to the northern side of Kelly’s Lough. Return to forest and staying on forest tracks make way to Glenmalure Lodge Inn.
Terrain & River Crossings

Forest tracks and open ground for approx. 45 mins. No river crossings

Gear Recommendations

Full winter gear required. Poles and gaiters strongly recommended.
