Description
We meet in the main concourse of Connolly Station at 10:45 before boarding the 11:05 Sligo train (usually at Platform 1) from Connolly to Kilcock. Having crossed the Royal Canal we follow the canal towpath to Maynooth where we have lunch/refreshments at the Shoda restaurant. We then take the commuter train from Maynooth back to Connolly.
The autumnal flora and fauna will be in full display all along this attractive canal-side route.
